ScaleWorX Supports the Development of Quantum-HPC Hybrid Research Infrastructure

Tokyo, Japan — November 18, 2025 — ScaleWorX, Inc. announced that it has been selected, together with its business partner DTS Group [3], to design and build the supercomputer system for the Quantum–HPC Hybrid Platform [2] at the RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS) [1].
The new system will serve as a next-generation computing infrastructure that seamlessly integrates classical high-performance computing (HPC) and emerging quantum technologies to accelerate advanced scientific research.

System Overview

The core compute nodes of the system incorporate NVIDIA Grace Blackwell platform “GB200 NVL4”, deployed in XN24-VC0 servers manufactured by Giga Computing Technology Co., Ltd. A total of 135 servers (540 GPUs) will be installed.
The XN24-VC0 features a high ratio of Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC), enabling high performance and excellent energy efficiency.
By combining ultra-fast interconnects, warm-water cooling technology, and advanced system integration, the platform delivers a balanced architecture optimized for performance, scalability, and sustainability.
Leveraging our extensive expertise in the design, integration, and operation of large-scale HPC systems, ScaleWorX is responsible for the overall system architecture design and integration of the supercomputer.

ScaleWorX Technical Strengths

  • Deep expertise cultivated through the design, deployment, and operation support of large-scale HPC systems
